Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres Ltd are agents for the SG Revolution range of super cushion solid tyres. We have been supply agents for over three years and use most of the range within many of our own tyre contracts. Our aim has been to reduce our customers’ running costs by continually searching for new and innovative ideas; this has been assisted by the introduction of the outstanding new concept of the SG Revolution tyre into the UK market place. The SG Revolution super cushion tyre is manufactured In Thailand and is delivering performances that are second to none in terms of hours per mm and cost per hour. This is especially noticeable in the waste, glass, steel and bulk handling market sectors where damage and downtime are frequently experienced. The worn tyre can be remoulded several times further improving the cost benefits of this tyre range. Sizes are available from 400x8 up to 35/65-33 L5 tyres. Tread Options
How it worksTread The tread is produced using a special rubber whose composition improves wear resistance, tear resistance and greatly improved wear characteristics when operating heavy loads under high torque. These tyres can go through the re-treading process several times with no detrimental effect on the strength and integrity of the casing. Side Walls Highly elastic compounds combined with other specially selected materials are used to prevent the edges of the sidewall from being damaged improving the resistance to wear and tear. The Soft Zone Designed for stability and reinforced for extra load carrying capacity these cushion tyres will not deform under heavy loads, although will absorb most vibrations giving a smother ride and greater operator comfort. The Nylon Cord and Bead Gives extra support on operations where high levels of torque are experienced and avoids the dry running between the cushion tyre and the rim. Non Slip Base This is constructed using special nylon fibres which when combined with a harder rubber increases the friction between the tyre and the rim. Cushion Solids for all operations
