Our congratulations go to Alison Moore, who recently became the latest member of the Vacu-Lug team to gain an advanced academic qualification when she graduated with a Masters degree in Human Resources (HR) Management from Lincoln University.
“It’s been quite a challenge, but very rewarding and well worth all the effort,” confirms Alison, who has now been studying for a total of four years, comprising a one-year Chartered Institute of Personnel Development course at Grantham College followed by three year long day-release degree course at Lincoln University. “I have a dual-role at Vacu-lug, part accounts and part HR, and my new qualification is going to be a great help in our personnel function, not only for me but also for my fellow members of staff at our Grantham headquarters and production facility.”
“As an organisation firmly committed to encouraging and helping its staff to realise their full potential, I am delighted to see Alison achieve her goal and gain a Masters degree,” says Vacu-Lug Managing Director, Tim Hercock. “I now wish her every success as she goes on to use her skills to further develop our HR function, which plays a pivotal role in the daily life of our company.”
