Production Operative Jeremy Podesta has become the 39th member of the Vacu-Lug team to join the company’s exclusive 25-years long service club. Jeremy, who joined Vacu-Lug back in December 1988, is primarily involved in helping maintain a steady flow of casings from the company’s storage compound into the Vacu-Lug retread production line.
“Ensuring the right casings arrive at the right place at the right time is a key part of our production process,” comments Vacu-Lug Managing Director, Tim Hercock. “With a quarter of a century’s experience under his belt, Jeremy is a highly valued member of staff whose work is extremely important to our retread operations. On behalf of the entire management team, I would like to congratulate him on his long-term commitment to Vacu-Lug and thank him for all his good work over the years. We now look forward to Jeremy spend many more years working with us.”
With the average length of service currently running at just over 14.5 years, Vacu-Lug is recognised as a Grantham employer with a long-term commitment to its staff. “There’s no question that our people are our greatest asset,” says Tim Hercock. “And in return for all the hard work and effort everyone puts in, we are delighted to be able provide a secure and stable working environment for the local community.”
