At Vaculug, we don’t just write cheques… we get involved. True community impact requires more than financial support; it demands active participation and a willingness to tackle real-world problems. Whilst working closely within our local communities, we noticed a critical gap that simply couldn’t be ignored: a severe shortage of teachers. Educators are the bedrock of society, inspiring curiosity, resilience, and ambition. Without them, our future generations lose their path forward, and the potential of countless young minds risks going unrealised.
That’s why we are thrilled to launch Tyres for Teachers, an initiative designed to solve the teacher shortage head-on. We believe that by empowering educators, we are directly investing in the future workforce and the long-term prosperity of our communities. This isn’t just a short-term fix; it is a sustainable, foundational commitment to driving meaningful change where it matters most.
To kick off this initiative, we’re providing nine exceptional students with a full 3-year scholarship—covering both tuition and board—alongside a guaranteed career path upon graduation. By removing the financial barriers to higher education, we are freeing these future educators to focus entirely on their training and passion for teaching.
